College dorm room etiquette

i was just wondering what ns thinks about some things that go on in the college dorm room. last night i was awakened by my drunk room mate who came in around 2 with a girl. they turned on the tv, got into bed and started going at it. she finally left around 7am this morning. how do you feel about your room mate bringing girls home while you are in the room?
 
Not cool.

Sexiling your roommate is acceptable as long as you propose it before they go to bed.
 
a) learn to sleep in any environment

b) return the favor...or just lay down some ground rules in regards to fornicating with loose women in the room

c) crashing in a friends room is not a bad idea, however that requires a heads up, so just refer to option b
 
well the same thing kinda happened to me two nights ago

I brought a chick, her friend, and my friend back to my dorm. My roomie came back later, said it was cool if they stayed. everything was fine till about 12:30 when he randomly left and didnt come back. He said we were being loud. Even though me and my girl weren't having sex, and the other two were asleep on the bottom bunk (I was on the lovesac).

He went over to a neighbors room and slept. He said he wasn't mad, just wanted to make sure he slept.

I remedied the situation by sleeping in her room last night.

There was really no foul other than not telling you, and the TV. thats all
 
Haha a lot of kids a lot nicer than me in here. If my roommate pulled that shit I would say "Eiffel Tower or get the fuck out".

My roommate and I freshman year encouraged each other to do things like that. But I'm the type of person that doesn't mind that kind of stuff. If I'm asleep and my bud brings a girl back and it wakes me up I'm happy for him.
 
that basically how living in a dorm works. some nights, you will get fucked over. other nights, you will get to fuck him over. in the end,everything will even out.
 
Exactly. The only way to win the game is to either talk to your roommate ahead of time to ensure this doesn't happen, or get more pussy than him and end up on top.
 
Even as a female I had to deal with this. My roommates brought guys over from time to time... But it kinda ended up working out.. cause we ended up dating roommates so she would go to their room and my guy would come to our room... yeah.
So just find out who the girls roommate is and sleep in her room.
 
if your that pissed about it... next time he dose it just stare at them and pretend (or do it if you wish) to just be beating off.... that chick will never come back and your room mate will to be weirded out to ever bring a chick back.
 
i have a single so I don't have to worry about nonsense like that. But sometimes the kids around me are loud at night. but once i fall asleep noise like that won't wake me up.
 
My roommates phone ringtone is some asian dance song and it rings like every morning, really early in the morning.
 
Live with it. Others have said it, you will do it yourselves. If it becomes a buck wild naked problem where people are just fucking and not ready for people to intrude then you and your roommate need to setup "fuck friendly times", aka "hey im bring this girl home and we're totally going to romp it probably during this time here....just a heads up."

You will yourself will hopefully bring home your own hottie to bang, and he will have to put up with it as well.

But yeah, fucking and dorm rooms....its such a difficult thing to come to terms with. That fact that someone is jizzing 4ft ahead of you....

 
Not really a cool move on his part. Should have texted you beforehand for sure. solves a lot of problems. Dont make a huge deal out of it, just ask for a heads up next time.

Your roomie will return the favour anyways, as long as he's not a dick... in which case, you get his ass back and use the "eiffel tower or gtfo" line until he realizes he's a dick.
 
its proper etiquette for him to warn you beforehand in order for you to leave. It's not cool for him to come back with a chick, giving you no notice, then proceed to make a ton of noise and expect you to leave. And the way i've always worked it-if the roommate is already in bed, its too late to exile them.

Or, dont be a dick and let your roommate know if your taking a girl/guy back. Its common sense... Would you want to have sex with your roommate in the room? probably not. Does your roommate want to be in your room when you have sex? probably not. Im sure he can find a place to sleep (or if not, you find somewhere else to go) if you give him a heads up. Its pretty messed up to have sex with your roommate there. Even if he/she doesn't say anything, there is a 95% chance that they are pissed about it/not cool with it.
 
some rules weve lived with for a few years now.

-If you dont eat your food after a few days its up for grabs (leftovers, anyfood except frozen dinners)

-frozen dinners can be eaten without asking if replaced next day

-no need to throw 5's, just pick up next time

-2 ways to act towards girls when brought back

-make it aquward as possiable

-let them do their thing regardless of what you have to do

-beer is up for grabs if left in the fridge (prb, bud/coors light, cheeped beer) as long as you get whoevers it was back

-more expensive beers, sam adams, micro brews have to ask
