gt vs.iowa? are you fucking kidding me.

tcu vs. boise. bullshit both of these teams should have been givin the chance to play a big boy. i wanted to see UF vs. TCU. GT or CINCY vs. Boise.

the bcs really fucked this one up. cant say im too surprise. there was really a chance to see some good games. they just dont want to see mid majors beat a major conference team.
 
i agree with you that both teams should play bigger teams from major confrences.

you should be mad that you got stuck with TCU because Boise has not faced a defense like TCUs. boise seriously has a very slim chance to win that game.

its sad because i think boise could have beat a team like cincy, iowa or georgia tech. and i really think TCU could beat florida just like utah beat bama last year.

 
as a cincinnati student i must say that we are not near being considered a "big boy" team. yeah we're in a BCS conference but its the conference that is seen as one of the weakest. I dont think we're getting any more respect than TCU or Boise. The main reason i think that this TCU vs Boise game is being played again is because it was so epic last year. All three of those teams wanted a shot at florida for sure but it was just unlucky the way it turned out. (which is exactly why the BCS sucks)

come on though if you really think that cincy has a ice cubes chance in hell to beat florida. TCU has a serious case and has the best chance out of any team besides bama and texas to beat UF.

i would have like to see cincy play boise. and tcu play UF

haha you got "stuck" with tcu? why is it that non traditional bcs teams are pissed that they aren't playing florida or texas or traditional powers? i mean unless you guys have something you want to prove. at least your team got a bcs game. tcu vs. boise is one of the more intriguing matchups the bcs has ever made

if you really think that tcu vs. boise is a good matchup? its a rematch from last year. TCU won last year and they will most likely win this year. the teams are basically the same, +/- a few players.

haha, i absolutely believe that cincinnati has a chance to beat florida. could we take the majority of games if we played 20 times? probably not. But its one game. We're ranked number 2 in the computers. we've beaten more ranked teams than TCU, and i think we have a better coach and a better offense. I will never deny that we have major holes in our defense but our TEAM has won all their games. Style points (which TCU has) play no role in how i think a game will play out.

Im not saying Cincinnati absolutely deserves this over anyone but to say they have no shot isn't fair to them. All teams were deserving and when it comes to the fact that cincinnati beat out TCU in the BCS standings by .0042 points theres really no picking one team. Just another reason why the BCS system is flawed
 
i completely agree that cincy is just as deserving to play florida as TCU or BSU. its more the fact that they fucked up with putting tcu and boise together.

i truely do not think that if UF comes to play(they possibly could not, see alabama last season in the sugar bowl) that Cincy will win. their defense just isnt strong enough to stop floridas offense.

anyway i hope cincy beats florida it would be a great win for the program.

on another cincy note. doesnt it seem like brian kelley is gonna go to ND. i dont know but he seems to get too offended at questions. i mean why wouldnt he. C.R.E.A.M. son.
 
I have nothing against BSU, but I think its pretty unfair that they get to wear their colors on the blue turf. I don't have a favorite college football team, so I'm not pissed or anything, but I was watching a game a few weeks ago and you really can't see their players.

NCAA should make them wear white, and the other team wear their colors when they play on the turf. I like the turf, I just think its unfair.
 
i dont think it affects the game. i really dont think it bothers the

opposing teams players. maybe? but i think there would be complaints

ive never heard of them.

 
why yes i do watch a fair amount of college football.
i realize it was a rematch from last year but it was from the what poinsetta bowl in SD or whatever? who gives a shit, you're on a national stage and receiving upwards of 15 million dollars (guess) this year.
i just don't understand why it would make boise fans feel better about themselves if they played florida or iowa or someone. you guys have been good enough for the past couple of years you should be worried about proving anything to anyone. last year 9 vs 11 this year 3 vs 6. so yes, a much better matchup than last year.
 
its too bad nebraska has not one lick of offense otherwise this would be a whole different story
 
yeah, my first thought when i saw the TCU Boise matchup was that it was unfair but i hate the majority of what the BCS does.

Maybe im just a optimist because i go here but kelley is showing a lot of signs that he's going to stay. A few players said he told them he was staying after the game (which doesnt mean a whole lot) but he also gave an interview on espn today where he said that "cincinnati was making all the right moves" so i personally think he's staying.

like i said, im really biased on my opinion of him so you'll have to forgive me for that but i tend to believe hints that coaches give over what the media reports.
 
Tim Tebow is going to have his way with Cincinnati's defense. You don't give up 44 to Pitt, 39 to Illinois, 40 some to UConn and expect to have any kind of chance against someone like Tebow.
 
cinci beat pittt with an extra point. it wasnt like they dominated or anything. tebow and florida are on a completely different level than pitt. if you had trouble with Pitt than your going to get destroyed by Florida. this is coming from someone who hates Florida.
 
How many points did you score in the 2nd have?
UC has a defense when they come to play, which I will admit is not most of the time. Nor am I saying that UC has one of the better defenses in the country when they do show up.
But the fact of the matter is this game wont come down to defense. UC and UF and both score on any defense in the country. It is going to come down to who has the ball last.
Expect one hell of a score. Im thinking mid 50s for both teams.

although floridas schedule was cupcake this year(it showed when they played alabama) they still played much harder teams than Cincy.

according the NCAA total defense rankings florida was #4 cincy was #48 tcu was #1 just for reference.

alright so if cincy doesnt have a defense how are they gonna stop UFs offense. because cincy certainly has not faced an offense like UFs,

if UF has a good defense they will stop Cincy.

yes cincy has a chance beat UF but id say its like a 85% chance florida wins.

how can you say defense wont matter much?i just dont get it.

defense will mean everthing. sure both teams have explosive offenses but the team that can shut down the others offense more will win the game. floridas defense is stronger so chances are they will shut down cincy on a few drives and win the game because of their defense.

i mean ill give cincy the edge over Boise as far as stats go. i still think boise would beat them on a neutral field.

i just think that in the case of cincy vs. TCU or Florida. TCU or Floridas defense is just not what cincy is use to seeing and they would not be able to out score them.

on a neutral field crazy shit can happen. Boise beat oklahoma a few years ago in the Fiesta. Utah beat pitt the same year i believe. the king is last year when utah embarassed bama.
