I am debating on whether to sell some or not, im just wondering what the return normally is.

on average how much do you get back when re-selling college books? ie 50% back

or do they screw you over (the bookstore is what im referring to)

Don't go to the bookstore to sell them back. Use Amazon. The bookstore will gouge you by giving you like 50% or less or just saying they don't need it back or something. Amazon you won't be able to sell them for the price you bought them at but you will be able to sell them for more money than you can at the bookstore.

ive never sold mine bakc on amazon. im pretty sure the bookstore ripped me off though

yeah definitely don't go to the bookstore to resell books.

try selling to friends or people that you know are taking the same course, you will be able to get close to 70% for it depending on the condition. Or even ask the profs to ask students if they need books.

go online and try reselling them. Chegg.com is a good site.
I bought over $200 worth of books for only 70, it's sweet

Definitely. I wish I had learned about Chegg.com sooner. Super legit. I was able to rent over $400 worth of books for about $40. It's so simple, they give you the return shipping label and everything.
