Man...go to L&C or Gonzaga.

My girlfriend is from outside of McMinnville where Linfield is. Dear god. Save yourself and do not go there. Town is tiny as hell, far from everything, just sucks.

Salem sucks ass too.

I have a couple friend who go to L&C and love it. I visits and didn't like the feel, so ended up a few hours north at UPS, but between the 4 you listed that is where I would go. Spokane is not bad, and there is some decent skiing over there, but Portland is a pretty fun city.

 
It is what...2 hours to hood from there? To me, why go to a tiny town when you could live in Portland or Spokane and be to skiing in a shorter amount of time.

this is just my opinion of course. if you like it there, by all means go there. I just didn't like the town.

yeah i live right by the UW, its really nice. might go there next year too, either UW or U colorado Boulder, still can't decide
 
finally heard back from penn state on monday and got accepted, i would have been fucked if i didnt because its the only school i applied to. i dont advise anyone to ever apply for just one school ti was nerve racking as shit not knowing if i was even gonna go to college next year half way through january of senior year.
 
not too happy at northeastern university, so i'm going to apply for a transfer to UVM and UMass Amherst. in addition, thanks to NS, i'm also considering Batmobile State.
 
That's exactly what i was going to say. And, since 2350 is a statistical anomally the likes of which we'll never see again (99.99999999999999999999999999999th percentile), I'm glad you got in. You beat all of China, All of India, and yo umissed 2 questions total. Thats a perfect in math critical reading, and writing minus 2 somewhere. So you got a perfect score in at least one category. Never gonna happen. You post a picture.

i got into Northeaster and UVM... and i applied reg decision to bentley. im probably going to northeastern though since it was my first choice n i really like the whole co-op stuff
 
dont hate. im not saying it happened, but im not saying it didnt.

a sorta good friend of mine scored perfect on two portions of the SAT.

But are you saying it's impossible to get a perfect score on at least one category? because it's really not.
 
Yea for real. I'm surprised you think getting an 800 is that crazy if you got into chicago. if you want to do finance at chicago...you better have an 800 math
 
Haha you aren't very smart my friend... but now I know why you are going to U of Chicago. It is not difficult to get a perfect score in at least one category. Math according to statistics is the easiest to do it in, and Critical Reading is the hardest. Supposedly almost no one gets a perfect in Critical Reading.  I know multiple people who got 2300 and above including a kid who pulled off a perfect aka 2400. Now there is something statistically impossible. And you can miss more than two questions and still get a 2350.

I dont know why I'm in here, I'm already in college. A word to the wise, if you are from out west, be wary of going to the east coast. It's a culture shock, or at least it was for me coming from California.

I'm at Georgetown right now and will be putting in a transfer app to USC.
 
two kids in my high school sclass got perfect scores on the SATs, 2400, they were damn smart. The one guy who is literally the smartest person ive met got defrred from MIT. He even opened his own computer business. He now goes to princeton (terrible 2nd choic), and the girl who got thw 2400 goes to harvard.I did well but not nearly that well haha
 
my sister is a grad student there and says the undergrad program is one of hte hardest in the country, and she went to an ivy league school. She says its RARE for anybdoy to finish in 4 years. But, if you are dedicated the degree means a lot to people.
 
I didn't hand in my applications until the very last day last year. I know how you feel. In hindsight I'm glad, because I didn't worry about getting into college for very long and I still got into college.
 
Oh and I hate to break it to you seniors, but getting a good SAT score means dick because college isn't really about how smart you are, its about how hard you work. Also, you're a liar if you say its "easy" to get an 800 in a subject of the SAT. Prick.
 
although i believe it, you do kind of sound like a prick when you say it it like that because its belitting something that other kids who work really hard can't do when you do it without trying.
