Coldest weather you've ever skied in?

-70ish with wind chill. My friend and I went up each wearing two jackets, multiple pairs of long underwear, glove liners, mitts, hand warmers, neck warmer, the whole nine yards, and we still only took one run...

like -50 ( probly -20 idn) or something i heard with windchill in vermont. I had shit load of trouble trying to get off the summit because winds were so high. My goggle elastic straps froze too.

around -20, don't remember it though, just remember my dad saying when I was mad young that we would only get a few runs in because it was almost -20 out.

word, whiteface can be soooo cold that skiing like 0-10 degree days are normal in mid season. sometimes its so cold i can barely get like 5 strait runs in

-170 F on the MOON bitch. I stuck a 11,880 w every grab I now + some new ones. It's all good in 0 G. Eat that TJ Schiller.

same but i had a couple of those this year and its sick when it is snowing and not windy even if it is cold because not many people ski so you really feel in touch with nature and its a tight feeling

the weather at the mountain I go to is so mild, so the coldest I think was -8 or -10º Celsius

i think it was like -15 at killington but we all kno how the wind whips on the summit of killy

this year wasent as bad, last year 1 day sucked at WV like 15- atthe top n wind w park gloves n a tee sirt under my jacket, it ruled

-70f including windchill at mad river. shit was crazy. i def got frostbite that day. its pretty funny though now cuz when my face tans there r white patches

at Mt. Snow like 4 or 5 years ago in January, it was like

-45, or -50 we went in every 2 or 3 runs, my friend's ear swelled up to the size of like a hand, it was called like chillblain or something like that, my dad a a minor case of frostbite on his cheek, and so did my other friend.

wow i thought i would get at least one of the top ten coldest temperatures living in one of the coldest place in alaska but dammmmn 70 bellow F or C? either ones crazy. you guys are deditaced

-40C (-40F) at Tremblant once in mid FEB....and that's W/O WIND CHILL.

One run was all that any person could handle.

There were like 40 people on the hill that day.

Your piss froze as it left yer cack.

hahah ya i was thinking that, dont most places have to close because of wind holds and/or frostbite dangers. ive been to the loaf when they closed at -40 which would be more like -50 with the wind. im callin bullshit on the -70's, thats rediculous

yeah when it was that cold for me I had to hike cuz all but the very bottom lift were closed. Good powder day though. They said if they had opened the lift and it broke people would be dead within 15 minutes.

-5 it was the best snow i have ever skied in, right after the mountain got dumped on, skipped 4 days of school to ski in this weather with 3 feet of new snow. it was amazing
