Cold in northeast

well, it's been cold in the northeast for the last few days. even the smaller ski areas in southern VT are open.

i hope this winter anhilates last winter, which was one of the most pathetic winters on record in the northeast.

i probably won't be skiing this year - my leg still isn't good; but i hope everybody shreds super-hard and that there is a ton of snow and cold air.

Yeah, Quebec resorts are beginning to open, and rety much every resort is shooting snow right now. I hope we get a lot of real snow too!

nothing here in NY except for gore and whiteface i think

i'm pretty sure that belleayre mountain was the first in ny to open. also hunter mountain is open.

whiteface is open with 5 trails  and 2 lifts. Should be more trails open by the weekend
