Cold day?

So today school got off because its too cold....Which led me to think hey has this ever happened to anyone else? sorry this may be a repost but i didn't search bar.

I had one cold day in my HS days...it's -20ish here right now but SU has canceled classes due to weather only 4 times in the past 100 years

yea its -23 right now, but we still have school cuz we have mid terms. and of course my bus breaks down this morning and i had to sit there freezing my balls off.

it happend once in like 3rd grade for me. the logic the district used was that if there was a serious frosbitw danger in the 15ish minutes it takes to wait for the school bus, it's to cold

How cold is it that you get off from school? When I was in like 6th grade we got an early closing because before noon it was over 100 degrees. And When I was in 8th I or 9th we had a rain day, everything was flooded.

I've had 2 rain days in my high school career. Tons of snow days...never a cold day

it was -25 yesterday, but i have walked to school in -32 (not inculding the wind)

they havent cancelled school due to cold here but we have had 5 snow days this year

god your school districts are pussies. i have lived in utah my whole life and never have i once had so much as a SNOW DAY. even when there is a foot or two of fresh overnight, we have school. and a fucking cold day...give me a break

school only got closed for temp when i was in grd 5 and younger...
and the 2 weeks before the xmas break all the school boards around me got hit with snow and got 5 snow days out of 7 school days. one school-board had to re schedule all their exams.
but mine of course was perfectly fine with less than 1cm of snow.
