I've heard so many ways to do a corked spin, and I try them, and some work and some don't. WHAT IS THE TRUE WAY TO CORK YOUR SPIN (to make it steezy, of course.

this proaly wont help but i just dip my sholder down right as im setting my spin and it corks me out realy nicely. but i dont know i think its different for everyone out there all of my friends do it different ways.

 
u gotta set downwards sorta but not really just get 7's fisrt then look up and set wiht leading arm down sorta. loking up is to make sure to land back on ur feet and u dont 'not-uncork'

 
I couldn't do em las year but I trained on diving boards alot n I drop my right shoulder as I set my spin n I really spot my landing On the last 180 of my spin to uncork myself

Its hard to understand if you cant do it, but once you get the technique its super easy. Just throw back and under, but not too much or else you'll do a back full...leading hand safty helps me alot, but its different for everyone

 
the best way to do corks ,trust me becuz i'm the shit at skiing, is to huck back at your tails and to which ever way you spin as hatd as you can while tucking your arms in and straightening your leg while grabing lui kang skier grab. there you go you'll be bustin perfect corks in know time if you stick to that instruction

you just gotta be on a trampoline and try different things, once you get the rotation and the feeling down like second nature just bust one out on a table you are comfortable with.

approach the lip, on the lip throw your back and your shoulder down and spot the heel peice of your bindings. that should get ya corked

carving just fucks me up, you catch edges sometimes and you get into the habit or trying to set the rotation before you're even off the lip. and if you dont have a trampoline, just man up and huck it, execution before style.

there is no true way to cork...ive seen 2 different ways that pros do it....for instance T throws it forwards. like...if he's spinning left, he'll drop his right shoulder and it will start bio...then go to cork. watch 1242..when he hucks over that cat he goes bio first. the other way is drop your inside shoulder (ie. left when spinning left, right when spinning right) this apparently is harder. personally...when i spin multiples of 360 (3, 7..10 but not yet) i dp # 2. when i do 5s/9s its #1. crazy

WHAT EVER YOU DO , IF YOU GO OFF THE LIP LEANING BACK AT ALL OR HUCKING BACK AND DOWN ON THE LIP BEFORE YOU HAVE LEFT THE GROUND YOU WILL NOT LAND SQUARE. you have to pop up straight and hten huck down and back.

not catch an edge really, bad choice of words. all i meant was that you tend to start to rotate before you even take off and thats just bad news.

when your practicing cork w/ not skis then cross your feet like your doing a cross, just get in that habbit.
