Hey, Cody Raisig (photo editor Freeskier Magazine, and owner of Sublux) just got into a pretty bad accident. I just wanted to alert everyone and have everyone give him the best. If you are in Boulder, you can visit him, I'll try and post more information when I get it.

 
He and Anthony Chavez were driving to MSP's shoot for the Yearbook intro when they were in a head-on collision. Cody broke his leg badly in a few spots and went into surgery last night, he'll be in the hospital for a few days at least. Anthony is already out with a dislocated shoulder and a fucked knee. If anyone wants more info or wants to get ahold of Cody, let me know.

codys the shit, never had anyone from a mag do more to help me out getting involved in a shitload of shoots and just generally being the friendliest guy i met (except he steals food, the man really has a compulsive eating problem, haha thats cody)

I got the call last night from Anthonys brother....some fuck was passing a car in the oncoming lane, didn't leave enough room, and hit them head on in Anthonys old school '89 LeBaron. Wish em all a quick heal.

Turns out the dude in the truck was driving drunk. He spent last night in jail. Between the law and the insurance companies and the wrath of Don Raul Chavez and Co-dizzle, this man is fucked.

stupid fucking drunk drivers..always ends up happening to the good people...how come drunk drivers never head on rapists or drug dealers? they always manage to kill good people or entire families

I saw him yesterday, he's chilling in intensive care in Denver. He looks pretty good and is getting better with every hour. If you see pictures of the car he was in, you wouldn't think that anyone lived.

the collision was on monarch pass. Cody is recovering at st anthonys hospital in denver...and hopefully should be released in a few days...
