anyone know any specs on this jacket, including waterproofing?

the code down puffy is only 'water resistant' because if they made it helly tech (3000 mm) they would have to tape every seam (standard policy for helly tech and xp) which would make it soooo expensive. i think it has some sort of dwr on it so it's, well obviously, not water proof. i work at a helly store so i'll check the facts today.

most of there 'water resistant' jackets(the ones that arnt waterproof) are about 4000mm which is still more than siver which makes me laugh

no, the code down is def not 4000 mm considering their helly tech stuff is only 3000 mm (that's why it's soooo cheap). the xp stuff is 10000 mm. you could definately rock the code down on sunny days, i just wouldn't recommend it when it's snowing which kind of defeats the purpose of a down jacket.

oh, and i forgot to ask if you could use that spray stuff to waterproof it more?
