COD Champs

If you think I am legitimately joking or just making this stuff up. Play the games I am talking about. It is so strategic, farrrr past chess. And the camaraderie involved is astounding.
 
Aim assist helps greatly, you would never see it disabled in a comp setting. Without it your gunskill would be inferior regardless of how good you think you are
 
I'm a fan of Cod but I didn't like black ops that much, hated black ops 2 and don't fuck with ghosts. Once mw3 is hacked to shit I'm done with that series.

Too many cheaters though. Also the camping. How the fuck is it fun to sit in a corner for 7 or 8 minutes and only kill 4 or 5 people. I wish they'd add a lobby where you blow up if you stand still for more than 10 seconds or so.
 
pc would have the advantage. The mouse is far more accurate. A whole hand vs. a finger. However this does not take away from the competitive level on console

104-0? To keep that K/D his team would have to win every round, and there is 5 on a team and the max of 30 rounds with the first to 16 winning regardless. Say your buddy aced every round(Doubt it) he would have 80 kills to zero deaths, so in a regulation match 104-0 would be impossible.

Your talking about public matches not competitive. Also in Ghosts there IS a game mode where you literally BLOWUP if you camp. Its called Cranked. The more kills you get the faster you move.
 
I dont know what you are talking about man you can easily go 104-0 in a competitive cs match. Like it happens all the time.....
 
CS and Battlefield are the only FPSs I enjoy, the COD community is a bunch of 10 year olds on after elementary school
 
ha, funny you say that because Ghosts actually does have a game mode where you blow up if you don't get a kill within 30 seconds. That obviously forces you to constantly move around to try and find people to kill to keep from blowing up.
 
Ahah this. Its not an opinion, its a fact : console shooters play in slowmotion. Ever watch the top CS players? ScoutzKnivez? You wouldn't even believe these guys are real. CS has been out for fifteen years now, the way OGs drag-shot straight to your dome is absolutely robot like.
 
COD Champs rule number 1, All players must be 18 years of age........... Please don't generalize about a community you obviously know nothing about.
 
That's not what I meant. I meant that the online community that you play with as a regular player is full of 10 year olds.

Essentially what you are doing is like putting in your 2 cents on a conversation that has nothing to do with what the conversation is about. ex: Guy 1:"Steroid usage in baseball ruins the sport" Guy2: "There should be more drug tests" Guy3(which is you): "I dont even play baseball because it is not fun to me. Like what kind of idiot plays baseball?" See what I mean. You are irrelevant to this conversation. Please research more on competitive Call of Duty before you post again in this thread.
 
Again I am not talking about the Public match community, the competitive community is a complete different world. Just don't generalize players who take the game seriously with "kids" who play for fun in public matches

watching video games as a spectator sport ruins the point of video games, there are few thing that are a worse way to spend your time than watching other people play a videogame.
 
^^^honestly. The whole point of video games for me is being able to control it, otherwise you might as well just watch a movie
 
You dont realize that watching people "play" video games on a competitive level is like watching any other sport in the sense that it is fast pace and entertaining to watch. Most every game played is a last second victory with a clutch at the end. You may not find that entertaining, but I do. There are many people that enjoy watching the pro COD players compete. Just because you dont like it doesnt mean that it is stupid and not entertaining.
 
It would be like a movie if you were to watch someone play a game like fallout or skyrim, or some other rpg game. COD and other game titles that are on the MLG pro circuit don't look like a movie because there isnt a plot to it. It is a competitive game where people are trying to beat each other for the 1st place prize of 1 million dollars. You opinion is irrelevant because you have never watched any recent competitive COD. There were over 100,000 people watching the live stream all weekend last weekend, and that was only the US regional qualifiers. In two weeks the actual COD Champs is going on where over 250,000-500,00 people will watch this "esport" for pure enjoyment.
