CoC/Windels

Hey all

I'm seriously considering a session at CoC or Windels next summer. I can't do many tricks at the moment will this be a problem and limit me within camp? or will I progress well?

Thanks

Daz

As long as you can ski down the hill, you'll find plently to do at Summer Camps plus you have the entire winter to ski still.

Oh yeah I can ski well. It's just in the UK you dont get many opertunities to ski which limits me to practising freestyle on a dry slope which sucks ass as the slope tears your skis up.

wish I could speak from experience, unfortunately I can't because I've never been to camp... but I know all sorts of people ranging from beginner to pro who have gone to camp, and everyone of them improved. especially the beginners, when you have great coaching and perfect features it makes it a lot easier to try new things. go for it for sure, never getting to camp is one of my biggest regrets, i'll get out there some day...

COC park is perfect fro beginners to to advanced riders. Most of the feature are super easy tohike if your not into waiting in line at the bottom.

yeah dude for sure it would be fine. i was at windells and at the same that kids were learning 10's i saw a guy hit his first 180. as long as you have the attitude of wanting to progress, you will.

The line really isn't that bad haha. Just at the end of the day when everyones leaving the glacier.

The line IS really awful, in fact its total shit.

But I would go to Momentum, or Camp Of Champs. Momentums ill because the T-bar for the landes on that pat of the glacier is never that crowded, meaning you dont spend all day in the lift line. Momentum has a really dope jump, and a couple smaller jumps that seem well to learn on. COC has a pretty banger 3 set of jumps, only thing is that you end up waiting in the lift line all day to hit them.

Just don't support Tim Windell hes the biggest douche bag i've ever encountered.

That's why it's pretty dope that most features can be hiked really quick.

all the rail and all the jumps except for the 2nd and third on the big jump line

the T bar is NOT bad all day. unless your "allday" is arriving at the glacier at 11. from 8-almost 11 the line is a meer 10 people. half of which are just sitting there waiting for someone else to come down the glacier

COC has a better park. but windells has better coaching. the hassle and money that is required at COC is overwhelming. go to windells

Windels i'm pretty sure you have to hike everything. The COC lift line doesn't get long until around 2 when the day is winding down anyways. I didn't have a coach at COC but I learned so much.

coc for sure, but more than coc, momentum. either way hit up a whistler camp. whistler is the most legit place in the world. no ski camp beats a whistler experiance.
