Ive flipped throuh the forum, read the camp stuff, but i still have a ?-

My parents caved and said theyll pay 1/3 of the camp;, i should be able to scrape up enough $ working this spring(just turned 14, legal working age) to cover travel +the 2/3 for Coc(seems like a good fit for me)

Ive heard most of the kids there are rich snots, is this true- also how laid back is instruction(want a little, mostly just access to sweet park)

If you only want access to a sweet park, just go to skican.ca and check out 7-night trips to whistler. Theyre around $1000CDN from toronto in april.

they have a sweet sweet park, and you dont have to ski with your coach/group if you dont want to, although you probably will want to, because the coaches are awesome and you learn a ton of stuff. its basically like one huge session on a really nice park, with a bunch of pros.

u have to be a rich kid to go to camp, but the people who call coc campers rich snobs are the kids n the other camps who get upset once they realize that they paid just as much and there park not 1/2 the size of coc

i cant describe the vibe i get when i drive by 6 people and 5 i hit
 
Who gives a shit what the other kids are like. Go to the camp with the best park, best coaches, and best experience. If your throwin cork 5s and theyre trying out 1s, it doesnt really matter, except that you will get put in a different group, with people like you.

Timmy... good advice, i just dont want to be ostracized because i can actually ski on 'last year's'(shudder)'cheaper'(yet identical except for graphics) stuff, but i am going to ski my ass off, not not to meet new friends and connect with them on an emotional leve___-sarcasm is hard to convey though text...

do not worry about being stuck with shitty people, there will always be group your level (i only know this from someone i know going to camp and telling me this). I'm savin up for camp too
