COC Dryslope/Launcher damage on my skis

Alright so I'm going to COC this summer, and I'm super stoked that they got their new snowflex dryslope as well as an mSnow jump. I'd been trying to get my hands on some old skis for summer jibs/astroturf/backyard stuff, but all deals have fallen through. I'm going to camp in a couple weeks, so at this point it's unrealistic to think i'll be able to do much summer jibbin anyway, until COC, so I won't be hitting any features off snow except for the dryslope and the launcher Is it worth it to spend time and $$ to get skis just to hit the snowflex/mSnow surfaces? Also how do those two surfaces affect your skis, will they damage mine any more than regular snow, or as much as backyard jibbing can? Or maybe, are there skis at camp that they would let me use for these? (demo/rent/etc)

Sorry if this is a repost or anything, but I've never jibbed on astroturf, snowflex, or mSnow, so I'm kinda clueless. +K for all responses.

probably very llittle my summer setup does very little damage to my skis and thats on orange construction fence

Just make sure you wax your skis plently. Snowflex has such a higher friction then snow that it will over time burn your bases and the base material will pull away from the edges as it shrinks. This will never happen in a week this is after allot of ridding. You can just rub wax directly on to your skis, the heat of the friction will melt it into the base as you ride. Do it regularry. It helps allot if the snowflex is wet too, but im sure they will wet it, as it will hopefully be hot here in whistler by the times caps are well underway.
