Well it sounds like he killed it properly, that's not really barbaric, even in Philly.

And cooking it wrong is not being barbaric it's just being an idiot.

unfortunately cant find much of any other information to corroborate that so who knows. however ive never been a fan of hunting to control populations as a form of "conservation." theres just too much going in an ecosystem for humans to control, we just end up fucking it up even with the best intentions. i also could never kill a kitty.. especially a big one

My freezer is currently overflowing with duck from hunting this year. So damn tasty. Might have to make some up tonight
 
it could be just a natural, predator/prey fluctuation. as prey increase predators increase, after the predators get their fill, the prey decrease leaving an increased population of predators, the predators reproduce less, the prey increase, and so the cycle continues.
 
If i ever kill something to eat ill cut its heart out and eat it raw. Sounds fucking sick, and I'm being 100% serious.
 
op would you have a problem with someone catching a salmon and eating it? like fuck i dont see what the big deal is here, duck is probably my favourite meat in the world, id have no problem shooting and cleaning one.

I really can't think of a more economical way of providing nutrients to something especially a poor college kid assuming he is like most college kids. Free food flying all around outside a matter of getting it

thanks to this thread, I really want some duck or deer or rabbit.

But all I have is almond cookies. Living in a first world country can be tough. Perhaps I'll have some chilli and sourdough.
 
pan roasted that shit with an orange juice, sherry, ginger, honey, garlic and thyme glaze...god damn you can never go wrong with duck
