Co-worker killed a duck and ate it

so im talking to my coworker and he just told me while in college he was talking to his roomate and he said he never understood hunting when u can go to the food store and buy meat. the other guy said dont knock it until u try it..his roomate then went home (lived on a farm) took a duck and brought it back to college. he then took it outback of his house he was living in and chopped its head off with an axe..he then cooked and ate it..fuckin crazy asian man i guess its in their blood lol

any of yous got a similar story?

Holy fuck I don't even want to live on this planet anymore.

Enjoy your microwaved elios pizza.

It used to be considered valuable knowledge to know how to kill, clean, and cook an animal for food.

I was looking to butcher my own whole deer this year if I got one. I'm still looking to eat a grouse next month when I go back upstate hunting.

That's honestly not that weird at all, and hunting is totally fine. Anyone who is against hunting in an area where proper laws are in place to make sure it's sustainable is just uninformed and oversensitive, IMO.

um ya whats wrong about eating a duck, i hunt ducks and eat them too. food in the grocery store has to come from somewhere.

It's actually the proper process for gutting a deer. we use a zip tie or twisty tie to tie the asshole shut once you cut it out. See when pulling all the inards out of a deer the intestines are gonna get stuck unless you cut free the end. then you twist it off so it doesn't deposit any little bits of poo as it passes through the body while your pulling the guts out.

That's the gross part though, the cool part is going shoulder deep up in there to rip the heart out with your bare hands.

Sidenote: Deer heart is fuckin incredible breaded and fried. Growin up I was always taught to save the liver and heart for cooking that night while having some beers.

he didnt know what he was doing that was the point..he killed it cut its side off i guess and put it in a pan, cooked and ate it...and later was sick for a few days

the meat that you buy at the store if farm raised, aka unhealthly, full of antibiotics, and living a miserable life just to be killed off in the end. the meat you shoot in the woods is about a millions better for you, better for the animal, and better for the environment.

What you think he raised ducks on his farm for fun? Where do you think meat comes from? I killed the fuck out rabbit in my yard using my bow this summer, wish I had someone to take me hunting

na it was the roomate who had the farm..my coworker was the one who killed (who never went hunting just fucking killed it)..at least on a farm its humane and normal lol..my man just axed it up lol

Farms arent really too humane. Usually they just cut the neck open and bleed them out ar they have a machine that drives a long nail into the back of their skull killing them.

That being said, im going to go hunting mtn lion after finals week so hopefully i can snag one with s bow.

how in the fuck do you think they kill chickens? ever heard the expression "running around like a chicken with it's head cut off." beheading is a pretty common method for killing birds.

This is true. I know it might sound wacky to those that are a little "selective."

But whoa, I had deer heart stew last season. Blew my mind. Unbelievably good.

I was a manager at a landscaping company for a while and the Brazilians were big on chicken hearts. Pretty good, but doesn't compare to deer heart.

He clearly fuckin ate it... I killed a rabbit in my yard in the middle of the suburbs for the experience and to eat it. When I was 7 years old my uncle in Poland had me pick out a chicken, grabbed its body, held its wings down, pressed it against a tree stump and cut its head off. It was freaking out for a full 5+ seconds. Im just confused as why you think this is a big deal

Also this. With a sweet orange sauce.. oh baby... or maybe even a caramelized glaze

My friend's mom is raising chickens and she said that next spring when they get new ones, I can have one and eat it. Prolly gonna take my bow over there and kill one and take it home!

With a fuckin hatchet. Its the best way to do it. Just because you have a huge vagina doesnt make someone a barbarian for eating/slaughtering meat

Youd be better off doing a regular slaughter with a knife or axe, with a bow youll more then likely puncture internal organs and shit and just make it more difficult to prepare.

Your thought process perplexes me.

Wherever the fuck you are, killing an animal properly to then eat it is not a big deal. People gotta eat, man.

Because theres so many Mountain Lions this year in Utah that they are destroying other species as well as farmers flocks. They are gave out 3x more tags this year than last year because of the problems with mtn lions killing off way too many deer and elk in certain areas of the the state.
