CO Front Range/Fort Collins Touring Partners

Wanted to see if there were any Foco/Front Range NSers out there that are trying to do some touring this spring and throughout the summer. A bunch of my touring partners are graduating or got jobs outside Colorado for the summer.

A little about me:

- I'll bring snacks. You can have (some of) those snacks

- I'll bring my camera so you can get some new Tinder pics

- If you don't have any objectives in mind, I've got a long list of lines and have already researched the logistics

- I don't mind - actually enjoy, getting up at hellish hours of the night/early morning if it means we get to go skiing

- I'll carry the heavy pack

- I spent last summer skiing all around CO, so I've got a decent idea of the areas, conditions, and routine of summer skiing here.

- I have basic avalanche training (AIARE 1) and take safety and decision-making very seriously

Things I don't have:

- A car

So, if hiking a lot to ski a little sounds appealing to you, hit me up.

Sweet dude! Yeah just hit me up whenever you're looking to go

After finals next week I am gonna ski the basin for awhile until the season ends. After that though I am deff trying to bag some lines up the Poudre this summer, and I have a whip.

Boulder kid here. Got my AAIRE level 1, gear, and car. Also I have a dope guide book with lines North of I 70. 8158614144

Looking to get some coulier skiing in this summer as I just work M-TR

I'm out in SLC, but I'd be down to figure out plans to get a weekend or two of skiing in that area. Also down to hit some couloirs, I've skied a bunch of them out here in the Wasatch but I'd like to branch out and learn some new areas. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number we can try to set something up

Sweet, thanks for the replies everyone!

I will be heading to A-basin this monday if anyone wants to carpool, and then I'm also trying to get out for an early morning tour on Sunday if anyone's interested. Was thinking probably something mellow up at cameron.

Pretty desperate last minute request for anyone trying to ski RMNP tomorrow? Storm totals are looking to be around 40" - any takers?

Know I'm a little late to the party but was searching Colo. State threads and found this... I just started up a freeski team at school in Foco this past semester and we've been doing mostly backcountry trips this season. If you're interested let me know...we got quite a few committed rippers and we've been skiing everywhere

Cameron pass is probably the most popular but RMNP has variety...look up bear lake skiing in rmnp and zones like Mario's gully, Dragon tails couloir, ect.. there's quite a bit to be found with near foco, hope it helps!

yeah. i'm just getting used to all the options here on the frange. I need to get my sleep schedule back on track and start going prior to work more often

Waking up is the hardest part. Also spend a lot of time up at Berthoud/ Loveland pass so if you're ever looking for some motivation let me know because I'm up every weekend
