CMC steamboat

So i'm moving out there in a little over a month and dont know ANYONE. let me know if you have plans of going there too! ive just been getting really depressed about leaving my friends here and going to a school where im not going to know a single person

you're a chick moving to the mountains, don't kid yourself it'll be too easy to meet friends....

i very possibly could be going to cmc steamboat as well, i will keep in touch if i do! and i will also know no one..

hahaha my boyfriend actually JUST told me about that yesterday. i guess his friend changed it last time they were over here and saw my ns was logged on. thanks for reminding me to switch it back

yeah, that's prob a good idea. Seriously look me up when you get to town and i introduce you to some cool kids around here.

no shit i had to login just to reply to this im from madison and live in steamboat now. dont worry its real chill

Hey what classes are you guys in? I may be in one of your classes.
Bio 111
Psych 101
English Comp 1.

speaking from alumni experience, definite awesome place to go to school. TBH, dont be expecting a fortune 500 job with your deg unless you follow it up with some colorado grad school as well as post-grad school...............shit, who cares. It's all about who you know, not what you know.

I love steamboat, it is by far my favorite ski town. It's not super crowded and it's friendly. The snow is awesome and it's beautiful. Sure it's a bit of a drive but that just keeps all the day traffic away. I don't live there full time right now but my dad and I have a house up in the boat and I go just about any time I don't have class at CSU. I'm planning on moving into our house there full time after I graduate if I don't have a job right away.

Steamboat is a sick place.

Here's my classes:

Astronomy 101

World History (CMC is to decide if online or on campus)

Masterpieces of Lit 1

Philosophy of Religion

Ceramics 1

Canyon Orienteering

gonna ask it again haha

Im gonna be there in august. Anyone know how easy it is to get a job at the ski area? or where to look for a job?

I have no clue honestly. My cousin got one during the winter a few years ago, so it can't be too hard.
