wow this movie is probably one of the best i've seen in a while. i liked the camcorder filming style, and it was so loud. fuck this movie is so damn good.
 
really, i didn't like the filming style that much and didn't like the ending. It had alot of potential to be good too bad.

theres a static noise at the end of credits, when u play it in reverse it says "its still alive"
 
haha thats wierd

if you go see it, make sure you get a seat in the back. we had seats in the front section and i got sick as balls from the home made filming style.
 
i sat in the front and was fine, and my friend next to me felt sick. i dont think wehre you sit really has that much of an effect. so who else was getting real pissed off in the beginning? i wanted to know what was going on but they kept you out of the loop for so long
 
super sick movie. I think about shit like that happening all the time. And they portrayed it so well. Everybody knows something like this will happen someday. And all the people in the movie were just living their life and all of a sudden, bang boom world ending in front of you.

idk, i really didnt like it. half the time i couldnt tell what was going on because of the camera angles, and about halfway thru, i got the worst headache from it. i think it had potential to be awesome, but it was just mediocre imo.
 
I work at a movie theatre, I see all the movies that come out, don't see this movie it sucks. The filming style is crazy and half the time you don't know what is going on, acting was poor, story was decent and had some potential but the ending was retarded. If you like to see movies where you don't know what is going on, and that don't have any depth, then go see this movie, if not, see something else.
 
i thought it was pretty good except the ending was absolute bullshit, so dumb.

the three things i didnt like abut it were:

1- Is this camera made out of fucking adamantium or some shit, i mean WTF its invincible, it was working perfect after everything that happened to it. Not to mention the batteries would have run out within the first 1-2 hours.

2- That guys dumb girlfriend is like fucking super women or something, she was fucking stabbed over the heart with a iron rod and after they pulled her off of it she was still able to run and shit and she wasnt bleeding at all, then she survives a fucking helicopter crash ontop of that.

3- the ending......GAY.

oh, but Hub was pretty funny :D But besides that i lovveedd that movie. It was so ill. I loved the camera work i thought it was a great idea, and that acting was also reallyy good! they made it very belivable. I would still liek to know what the hell that thing was, where it came from, did they destroy it, is there more of them and shit like that. Great prelude to a sequal though.
 
I agree with you but the comment about the battery confuses me as the movie is only one hour and 24 minutes.... so that's all it had to last...
 
yeah dude so true, maybe it was just because i was really high when i saw it but i absolutely loved this movie.. the whole time it seemed so realistic and i just pictured myself in some downtown boston party and a terrorist attack or some crazy shit happens that it would go down like that.

i thought that the ending was pretty dope, how they're under that central park bridge and they drop the bomb and each saw "i love you" right before dying.. and then it cuts to them at coney island on the ferris wheel.. and if you remember the beginning he's like "i cant beleieve youve never been to coney island"
 
pretty sick movie apart from two things.

First; Even at the the end of the movie I only had a small picrure of the monster in me head wich pissed me off, sure there were a couple of shots of the whole thing but they were only for 3 seconds or less.

Second: The ending was so blunt and totally shit. The movie went from mstill going well to finished in like 5 minutes and the last 2 or three were the people talking. IMO the ending could have been alot better,
 
It left alot of lose ends, pretty much setting up for another movie. But you're right... they could have done more with the ending.

as fore getting a good picture of that monster, you clearly must not have been paying attention. I mean, after the first half of the movie you get a good idea of what his body looks like. then towards the end when he gets eaten there is a good 10-15 second shot of its head in broad daylight.

The movie was pretty good, but there were 2 parts that were just absolutely disgusting that I could have gone without. Definitely worth seeing.
 
I didn't catch it, but apparently you see "something suspicious" drop into the water during that last shot of Rob and Beth at Coney Island! I wanna see it again now, but I don't wanna sit through all the gay shakey camera footage!
 
I think its a movie that if you see it again you will catch more things.  I read that theres is going to be more movies.  because what about other peoples experiences wwhile trying to survive it.  what if someone else was taping while it was all going on... going to be super sick... 
 
After I saw this I like wanted the world to end so I could go all movie hero and save everyone!

But there r some great sequel opertunities, like the nxt one could b from the tv stations point of view then another from the army point of view and you could learn a little more each time cuz each groups nos a litttle more IE: civilian
 
ok, you obviously don't know much about movies.

you don't whats going on because its from the people's point of view, and they try and make it feel like you're the people.

doesn't have any depth? are you joking? this was the most in depth movie l've ever seen. i guess you didnt really understand what was fully going on, and why people were exploding.

and the ending was not bad at all. It sets it up perfectly for a sequel. i see nothing wrong with that.

just my oppinion here.
