As official Rep of Abode Apparel, we're taking suggestions for next season's clothing. We're at that time of year again where we need to put in the orders to the manufacturers of what we want, and we'd love your imput. Some ideas that have been tossed around are zip hoodies, hats, backpacks, moto x jerseys (for Abode), and more t-shirts. If you have any ideas, just contact me or if you have any logos you'd like to submit (cash will be paid if used and an opportunity for your resume). Thanks a lot.

Zoodies, and cargo pants. Scratch the moto cross jerseys.

For cargo pants make sure they fit well. Hang em nice and straight and low off the hips is good.

Dont make em gangsta style wit shit all over em either.

Would having the clothing lined with an extra soft and light liner interest you more. Let's say if you were contemplating between buying a regular NS hoodie or an Abode hoodie with a nice lining, what would you choose?

 
i like strait up long sleeve t's. they are perfect for all weather. those siver baseball t's didn't look too bad either

I'd take the one without the liner, I personally like my hoodies without all that stuff. Have normal longsleeve shirts, and a hat that has the alpha logo on the lower right corner would be awersome, kind of like the Oakley ones that have the metal O in the corner.

is there any way you could keep the new hoodie feeling you get with nwe sweatshirts...you know the fuzzyness on the inside...that would be sick...um zip hoodie is a must, mabe some button shirts...regular hoodies

well, by adding either a mesh liner (like cheap basketball jerseys) or another liner we have in mind, it keeps a smooth and super comfortable feel. We really enjoy the liner, but if some don't like it, than we'll take that into consideration. Maybe one or two of both can be worked in.

 
yeah i agree, heavy hoodies with too much lineing are nice but they are too hot most of the time. i'd go with lighter hoodies that will fit nicer under your jacket.

you defenately need to make some pull over hoodies. I'd never buy a zip hoodie..just not my style. And also, i have some background in graphic design. Just tell me what u have in mind for a logo(s) and ill see what i can whip up!

What we're basically purposing at the moment is one zip hoodie, two pullover hoodies (one lined), one long sleeve shirt, and a pair of cargos. If any of you guys can help us out with the style of the pants, that'd help us a bunch. Thanks a lot and pray for snow. Peace

a good zip hoodie is a the rossignol one. the hoodie is made by lee, but has the rossignol logos on it. they are extremely comfortable and not to heavy. if you could make it like that is would be super cool. and for the cargo pants make them kinda baggy, but not to much. and dont add tons of little pockets to them either. try to keep them basic. another cool idea would be to have abode boxers. just a thought, but i know i would definitly get a pair with some skier doing a sweet grab on them!! lol, yeh so theres some ideas.

you should also make some short sleeve t's, like just plain white, black and grey ones with the logo on the front, and flexfit hats with the logo on the center on the back and off-center right over the bill

def get some hats... like some beanie style hats or some jon olsson style with the two straps hanging down from the sides that cover the ears or some regular caps... the cargos should def not have a lot of pockets, they just get annoying... and how about some more outerwear stuff??? like vests and stuff like that.. i personally like to wear a hoodie and a vest over it... just some suggessions...

 
We're looking at outerwear as well, but that gets very expensive. We'd have to higher special contractors because outerwear is a completely different type of clothing. The way it fits is key and the people inside Abode are not professional clothing designers. Thus, we'd have to pay some guy who doesn't even ski to design our clothing which is the exact opposite. Hopefully though, we'll be able to higher somebody that's already worked with another ski company and know what we're looking for - eventually though. Alright you guys, thanks a lot, peace

 
Beanies are a must i think. Visor beanies are pretty tight right now also. For hats, fitted with a small graphic, and some writing on the back. Nothing much though, and don't center the graphic. Sweathirts, hooded,and put some writing inconspicuously on the hood like the siver cartel one. ( i think) and ripcurl has a sweet sweatshirt that is not normal material, its black zipdown and has the tighest like kinda waterproof material. You can barely see the logo, its black also, just like embroidered on the black. Pants- skip on the huge graphics. one on the back pocket or above the front pocket, somin small, writing or graphic. and keep the colors sweet. T shirts are a must too. nothing should be tons of colors and stuff. dark colors, cool pics, tight clothes.

oh man if you could get coats or snowpants also, that would be tight. this is not necessarily good. make them warm-like wear tshirt underneath warm. and snowpants-cargo khakis, big, baggy,and make sure you put an insanely huge amount of protection between like boot area, my snow pants get SO

We were thinking that the plain white t-shirt with a dark logo would be a good color scheme, seeing how it's barely made any more. What do you think?

 
Word, guys this gear is quality. check it out most definatly. Rad gear and super chill company. Jerseys are key, most definately, but for real, a definate company to buy and check out.

For the cargos, offer them in khaki (brown), light grey and maybe black or dark blue. Kepp them to having one cargo pocket on the side of each leg that closes with a lot of velcro so shit don't fall out when you ski. Make sure they have the regular pockets to.

Another possibility is making one of the cargo pockets have a clear plastic part so you can put your pass in there.

How about those chill thermals, with like the high collar with the logo on that....or is the beer getting to me....hmmmmmm....Zip Hoodies are cool too, the logo on the front and maybe a small one on the hood...oh god....keyboards startinng to look funny, gottta go...

yeah it would be cool if you made a light jacket thats water proof and on cargo pants put zips onthe inner leg and have zip out liners like 686 pants

 
I think you need a pullover hoodie, and a zip hoodie. Also have a cargo pant like boarders wear an then a slopestyle pant like fate has. no cargos. Also a lighter jacket and a heavier jacket. NO HOODS THOUGH !!!! I think that is the most ugly thing is a jacket with a hood hanging out or even rolled up. also a few beenies wouldnt hurt

Try black shirt with red logo. I made shirt once and it looked pretty sweet.

Or if you can do a white shirt and then a black outline and a blue inside, but cut the blue so that the white shows thru and acually defines the logo. I can give u a pic of something like that that I made a while ago with that scheme.

Do everything that Siver did and will do, they sell out pretty quick so demand for you product should be equivalent. Advertise more, too. There are not many ski clothing companies and like I said, demand is high, so if you build it they will come.

 
Dude, you need to put in some studded chrome belts or something too, maybe with a big ass buckle of a jibber. Pullover hoodies are a must too, and shortsleeve shirts
