Yeah I am Canadian but that doesn't mean that American politics are of no interest to me. The majority of my family are dual citizens, my father is an American taxpayer, so what happens in the US affects me too. Also, there is a good chance that I will one day work, go to school, or live in the States, and I think its important to understand the political structure of our neighbouring countries. It is an undeniable truth that America has a great effect on Canada in many different aspects and educating myself on things such as its political system can only be beneficial.

Hearing that entire assembly cheer when he basically asked Obama to bring all the troops home made me laugh. It's like, oh, okay... it's alright if Bush goes to war, but now that we're at war, and Obama's in charge? BRING THEM HOME!! OMG WHAT IS WAR GOOD FOR!? as if they had been anti war from the beginning.
Eastwood is a libertarian. Therefore about 80% of that room disagree with half of his views - the stronger half of his views, seeing as he's been far more outspoken about his views on social issues.

Forget the oil wars... imagine all the spending and bullshit on combatting Abortion and Gay Marriage, Don't Ask Don't Tell, and all the other bullshit religion based crap they try to instill on the general public.
