probably vail or winter park...abasin has a couple...you really need more snow anywhere right now though
 
Vail has been getting some fresh so I was gonna head out there on Friday. I will let you know how the conditions of the landings are.
 
i dropped some pretty steep stuff and some 20 footers at beaver creek the other day. near stone creek chutes, the whole way to skiers right. pretty fun
 
yea i dug a 20 ft by 5ft deep bomb hole on the landing of the cliff god i think i lost like 10 lbs and it was like a ft to the left where i crashed hahaha

 
thats not relavant considering he didnt ask for resorts off of I-70.

And lots of drops at Vail yesterday were money!
 
i hate to ride their fucking park for 3 days b/c there wasnt enough snow. I was so pissed off, but i did cat ski at monarch and they had good hucks, but it isnt on 70
 
don't go to keystone for cliffs. your not gonna find much compared to vail or wp, a basin has snow now too so its good
 
Of all the in bounds terrain in this part of colorado, I have found no place with better dropable cliffs than the beav- end of story. I've been skiing Vail for most of my life, and there are some good cliffs around but the landings on the bigger cliffs there have to be JUST right to drop them- lots of times they are too flat/blown off by wind. WP has some good one, but imo the beav is a playground for dropping cliffs.
 
Period. End of question. If you are know where you are going in Beaver, they have the sickest backcountry/big mountain type riding of any of these places.
 
Unless you live in edwards... But seriously the terrain at Beav is way steeper than Vail. Vail is sick, but Beav is a nice change of pace.

haha you're great. But seriously, Beaver Creek is way underated. And Vail gets so tracked out sometimes it's impossible to find decent fresh.
 
hmm you sure? Been skiing Vail my whole life, the big open bowls which are what I want to ski always get mad tracked. It could just be bad luck though, I never seem to get the prime days.

there are ways to find more, i skied powder there 3 days after a storm, yes most of it was skied out! i guess you just dont know where to go!
 
agreed, those big bowls are skiied out real quick, but you can still have great snow there 2-3 days after just because its so big. Most of the areas out near blue sky hold snow for days and days after though because they are protected from the sun. i like vail's stuff way better than the beav's. i just do.
 
...and it was prime the last time I was there, nice and soft underneath with a good dusting on top. Beautiful.
