pretty terrible quality

i live pretty much on the conneticut river, and we have lots of bridges you can jump off here. theres a closed bridge pretty close by which is pretty big, and a couple of years ago some of my brothers friends and i put a big rope swing off of it and it sent you probably 3/4ths the way across the ct river. you went huge

but then the cops got pissed and took it down.

and also on lake bomoseen in vt theres some cliffs right by my lake house, but the tallest is probably only 40 ft or something

The cliff on the left there, about 25 feet? Some girl jumped off of that today and got wrecked. There's so many rocks right to the left of the log in the picture, and those idiots tried jumping over them.

First two guys made it barely, then the girl decided to go. She hesitated, then jumped, and landed square on some rocks. She broke both her feet, her left foot was super gashed and gnarled, her right had bone sticking out of it. She also compressed her spine, maybe even broke her neck, she wasn't moving much though she was holding one dudes hand pretty hard. She also gashed her butt and sides.

Goes to show kiddies, check the water first, and if you hesitate, don't jump. She is gonna have back problems for the rest of her life.

alright sweet. i'm probably heading out to the ropeswing near my house tomorrow for the first time in a long time, and i'll see if i can get some more pics/video.

there are so many sick cliffs here in kauai, ive probably done more cliff diving here in the past month than the rest of my life combined.

Me and a few friends had heard about this place in passing, but have always been too lazy to find it on our own. But these other friends of ours said they were going there yesterday so we tagged along. It's a pretty sketchy abandoned train bridge/trestle. It's not super-high off the river, but high enough to be fun, and there's an awesome rope swing on the bank. Enjoy the pictures/videos. Hopefully I'll get better ones tomorrow if we go back. this was a quick little outing.
