Is it very hard to do gainers off of cliffs cause i wanna try real bad....i can do backflips on skis, is it just like that?

also is it hard to do a straight backflip or a 1 and a half?

thankssssssss

start like 3 steps back from the edge. accelerating, step left, right, then plant left and drive the right knee through as you launch. Basically, you just need to set enough rotation to land on your upper back, but once you are clear, pull your knees to chest and hold it until it comes around. Not very hard, but very scary to learn. I like to practice on cliffs around 8-10 feet high.

ya gainers are fucking scary

try them on diving boards first, then step it up to cliffs. there heaps easy on diving boards so it's a good place to start.

how about 1 and 1/2s or backs. I can do gainers on diving boards no prob already and i can do both of the others on a diving board too.

then it shouldnt be too bad. gainers scare the shit out of me though. i can double front off the diving board, but backflips on the tramp or diving board really scare me for some reason

i rock the pow like none other

The first reply is good advice on gainers I like to get as much of a running star as possible. If your talking about front one and a half that is easy shit I've never tried a one and a half gainer.

I tried my first gainer off like a 30 foot cliff, and thats before I learned how to do backflips on divingboards or skis, I landed on my head and it fucked up my ears for a week. its just like anything else you gotta commit, you cant get upside down and panic. Just push off hard to get away from the rock throw your legs up in the air in front of you and grab your ankles or tuck it up, it will come around

We pay our debt sometimes.

the cliff i hit today wasnt backflippable but i threw a frontflip and a lincoln off of it...it was maybe 30 ft.

Just dont spin to fast and remember you can control your spin speed by your body extension so be layed out at first and if your landing is coming faster than expected tuck up a bit, oh yeah were a full face helmet and a mouthpiece.
