It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle).

Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

I wonder how much more good, if any, it would do if they took all the money they spent marketing this "pink" stuff and just donated it.
 
by producing them for cheap and then selling them, they are able to donate more than if they just donated the 2 cents that it took to make a pink bracelet.
 
i dont see why the clicking helps. why dont they just do all the mammograms anyway? why do i have to click?
 
I'm not talking about the bracelets. I'm talking about the marketing. The commercials, the websites and all that stuff. That stuff is expensive.

I remember reading an article about Bono's Product (RED) bullshit where like 10 million dollars was spent on marketing and only like 2 million dollars was raised.
