'That's a great movie, not as good as Mallrats though.'

^^ is that a joke? clerks was way better. mallrats isn't even in the same category.

I categorized them as Kevin Smith films and I just saw Mallrats and out of the two I think it's funnier.

 
mallrats is just consistently funnier. the gameshow scene is one of the funniest ever, but clerks is funnier with single jokes. they are both the best things that Kevin Smith has ever done
