alright boys and girls, here the deal, im a racer, i own 2 pairs of skis for GS and Slalom, and i take the two teams and circuits i race in seriously.... i also own a pair of rossi BC's.....and i ride those every spare moment....a lot of you are trashing racers cuz they are rich, snotty, and ass holes.........when i went to sunday river last year i saw tons of kids....decked out in all the newest freestyle apperal....totally posing....but your not trashing them....im gonna tell you right now that the type of skiing a person does doesnt make them an asshole......its the person...racers are skiers, and theres no denying that...why talk shit about ppl who like what they do, they're better than you if you pull shit like that...they do what they enjoy, let them

 
i raced full out last year, Noram circuit and 4th year FIS, every secand i wasent racing i was in the park along with a whole crew of really strong park skiers who were also racers, it was such a fun year, This year im coaching as well as competing and i can tell you my athletes are going to the best allround skiers, part of their training is going to in the park and in the pow, having race skills, park skills and big mountain skills will make these kids kick ass skiers and they can decided which direction they want to go

i'm with you guys. ^^ true story right there. i raced until two years ago and now i coach, too. it's so awesome to be able to take the kids into BC and teach them stuff (like 3s) that i wish i could have learned at that age

The reason I hate racers is cause they go in the park and suck it up so bad. They absorb the jump get no air and land on the noal then they think they're the shit! At least that's what it's like at my hill. Maybe not at yours

Yeah, racer's all allright i mean there still skiing, Now snowler blader's meh im over it the only thing well one of the things that bug me are the old racer dude's decked out in spyder racesuits and wearing 'short's' they just bug me because there not fun to look at. And they yell at us for skiing Switch 'out of control' Even though i could prob race gate's switch. i just ignore em.

does it matter if they think they're the shit......if YOU were any good youd go and throw something worthwhile......and then they'd repect you for that......ive been on both sides of it.....thats how it works......and they just make YOU look better, so you should like them doing shit liek that

i use to race. i can't really agree with waht you said about them not being rich and assholes cause thats basically what all the kids were on my team.

just because freestylers have really nice shit, doesnt mean they r rich, snotty, assholes, it could mean that in the summer, they couldnt ski so they worked there asses off for nice gear and they have good work ethic. and ive heard from a lot of racers at my school that they r too scared of try 360s and 180s, racings fukin easy too, i used to race, there wasnt really a self challenge.

 
who cares some freestylers think racer are gay cuz they wear spandex, and some racers think freestylers are gay cuz they cant ski. do what u want...

 
Dspin7x is just being bunk in the trunk again. Racers are the shit. I just stopped cause I wanted to progress in freestyle. Racing makes you a really good skier. take Jon Olsson for example.
