Was bought and has plan to open back up this upcomming season. Its where i learned to ski. Whos excited? The park will probly suck, but its just good to see another resort opening around here.

There is no way this place is going to open up this coming year. The amount of money they will have to spend to get it going again it crazy. Im thinking somewhere in the 5-6 mil range if they buy second hand stuff. close to 10 mil if they buy new stuff.

sadly he's right i don't see that place being able to open anytime soon, it's insane how much money it cost to run a ski resort (as we call them in the midwest hills)

Thats what i've heard. I also heard that alot of the old stuff was just left there, and they'll still be able to use it.

Oh and a fellow nser's uncle bought it, and I'm hoping that he has some say for the park.

fuck that, better have a banger jump line. They got that long run. 2 ta 3 nice jumps would be easy chip!!!

ok lets clear this up right now. they WILL be open this coming season! i am working with them to design the park and they are working there asses off to get the place ready. this coming year they will be open and the year after they will have up there hotel and pool and motocross track. the place is gonna get huge ive been out there with the owners and helping. do not doubt anything. if you have any doubts contact them directly please. 419-883-2000

I don't know why they closed in the first place and I never went there when it was open. This though seems like a very questionable decision based off of the state of the economy, distance from Ohio's major cities (there is a resort closer to all 4 major cities/areas), state it was in when closed (it was ran down from what I have heard) and presences of the other resort in area. I do give it the best of luck though. With the right plan I think it could work with the way Snow Trails has been pissing off a lot of people recently.

Just kinda throughing this in there too. I heard from may sources (unreliable ones) that they are looking at doing a joint pass with Snowtrails. Can anybody confirm or deny this officialy? It would be sick to have a joint season pass with all the resorts in Ohio.

Here is a news article about the place and what they had planned at the time of publication... It seems pretty ambitious to me, but more power to them.
