CLEAR T-PEX?

Do they sell it? Got a gap to fill with a blue base. Rather go clear.

I doubt it also why does it matter it's on your bases, it's not like you see it all the time.

They make it, but when it burns it turns a gross piss color. I always use black.

Yep you can get it. Tip for using it keep the flame hot. If you get a yellow flame you will get black in the ptex and it looks like shit. Keep a good hot blue flame and your ptex will flow clear.

I never buy things online sorry. Try your local shops most shops I know sell it.

And it to keep it hot keep it close to the base and keep a steady flow. It's when it drips you get the smoke which makes it look terrible.

Isn't ptex the same as what people use in a glue gun?

Nope not the same at all. That is glue you use in a glue gun. Get clear ptex don't try and use a glue gun.

I dunno man...

I've used glue guns a lot in the past seems like the same stuff.

Glue gun sticks doesn't bond like epoxy ect.

I'll take your advice tho.

Seeming like the same stuff and being the same are very differnt. Just try to find clear ptex. Like I said should not be too hard I have never struggled to find it. Most people buy black as they find clear to hard to get looking good.

Found it... Was searching p-tex instead of t-pex.

I use a little torch to get my p-tex extra hot but not catch it on fire, it takes a little practice but they're pretty cheap

They do sell clear P-Tex, BUT the black P-Tex is better since when heated, it melts better and becomes more liquid and fills the whole hole ! Then depending of the size of your filling, but for bigger holes it is much better to use a P-Tex gun because it heats better than a open flame and you can press it better !

But if you use clear, make sure you don't let oxygen get to your melting p-tex in the flame.... or you will get black marks !

Made that mistake once... my joysticks have beautiful white bases expect for a little streak of piss-yellow and black specks.
