Cleaning your computer screen

there are just a lot of smudges and stuff on it i want to get off. would windex work or what?

no alcohol based solutions, acetate etc.

use some water/soapy water sparingly with a clean cloth

A clean, lint-free cloth should be good for the smudgies.

do NOT put any liquid on the screen. You can get a cloth damp, not wet and wipe the screen but don't put any liquid on it because if it drips down to the bottom it'll get inside of the screen and ruin it. There are special LCD screen cleaning cloths you can get. I've never used one before though.

i just used those disenfecting wipes and its all good

i use this spray that cleans cds and gets the scratches out. then i use this cloth that my dad gave to me and it doesnt fuck up the screen
