Cleaning oakley lenses inside

Does anyone know if wiping the inside of oakley lenses (with the microfiber bag that comes with the goggles) while they are dry mess up the anti-fog coating? Some people told me its ok as long as they are dry, some said it will still damage the coating. I have some nasty fingerprints on the inside of my lenses, and need to clean them somehow. Tried googling, but i found very mixed info about this.

so long as its fully dry you will be fine. Do not wipe them when they are wet though

wait really, it's only an issue when theyre wet? i ruined one pair wiping them wet years ago, and have been avoiding touching my current ones inside because of that

Yepers. I've owned oakleys all my life and the only time I messed up the lens was trying to clean it when it was wet on the inside. I personally always carry my soft goggle bag with me and it's a great lens cleaner. As long as the lens on the inside is dry you shouldn't have any problem cleaning them.

Honestly I wouldn't touch the inside of lenses no matter what. Any direct contact to the interior film can seriously mess up your goggles anti-foging capability and could cause slight distortion or blurriness. Everyone is going to have their own opinion about this but i cant remember a time that i cleaned the inside of lenses and didnt ruin them.
