Clean Dance Music Help

So basically im making the playlist for a our school dance, i took the job not knowing the rules. Basically it has to be clean there cant even be an explicit version of the song. so just like most of you i dont know much main stream music, so any sugestions?
 
dont fucking do it. out of your whole school there is someone much more suited for this task. You know nothing about music why are you making the playlist.
 
woah i apologize. I now read your post again and realize your probably on the commity or something. maybe some pretty lights? everyone likes pretty lights.
 
hey im also the dj for my schools dances and im in charge of the playlist too. not sure if you are in HS or middle school, im 13 and am in middle school so the songs have to pretty clean and not suggestive of drugs/sex; you know the deal. what i try to do is put a couple of songs in the beginning that might not be so popular like day n nite or paper planes. then, once almost everybody is in, you play a few of your best songs to get everybody pumped up. at the last dance in the beginning i played all i do is win, g6, black and yellow, and satisfaction to get everybody hyped up. from there on, i like to play either a slow song or a girly song(girly song as in justin beiber, party in the usa, etc. but ONE beiber song is my limit haha) every between every 5 or 6 popular songs. our dances are 2.5 hours long, which is about 40 songs. try to get the schools parents club involed too because u can persuade them to get u itunes cards to buy songs with. i have gotten two $15 and a $25 card from them. my school also has dance teams that want to perform so if your school does to be sure to ask them so you can put their song in the playlist. i hope thats clear and im open to any other questions that you might have
 
middle schooler's should not ever be allowed to go to/have a school dance, all the music is completely terrible and it just leads to the girls turning into complete sluts by their freshman year
