In my experience, classy ≠ functional.

Since I am about function over fashion, I must conclude that I am definitely not classy. I will now drive off into the sunset in my work truck wearing Carhartts, waterproof boots, and wool.

I'm sure it's nice to be classy, whatever that actually is, but wearing perfume and caring about your image isn't worth my time.

I did as you suggested. I realized that if being pretentious allows me to spell basic words correctly, then I am very much alright with both being pretentious and being thought of as pretentious. NEXT!
 
You don't need to spend too much on cologne in order to smell delicious in my opinion. Acqua Di Gio used to be my favorite, and although it is "played", I still love the smell...a truly great smell just doesn't get old, no matter how many guys I smell it on while cramped up side-by-side at the bar...but I also really like Hanae Mori for men, and it's really reasonably priced.

This is still the best smelling cologne I've ever had the privilege of owning (just a sample). If you ever have $250 kicking around, it's worth it.
