Christmas may not be for a bit, but it's time to get a search on for what you wanna ask for. I'm in need to class up my style a bit. I know they're some people on there that have suggestions or looking for these things too. Examples of such items are:

Shoes

Watches

Wallet/Luggage

Outerwear/Winter wear

Dress clothes

Cologne

Try to include price, brand, picture, link to item etc

Ill post once I'm on my laptop

threads for style,

I'm looking for a nice watch myself actually, decent price, so yeah if anyone wants to post one.

You know who would be helpful in this thread?

And I realize that majority of this site will just flood this with hate but there are a select few of us that are older and looking for the same stuff. Girls aren't really looking to go home with the guy in the xl Jiberish Hoody and Nike Dunks at the bars

men you have to talk about having class are probably just try hards who want to look like they have class but actually dont

just sayin, bros. classy men don't talk about having class, they just do.

This thread is full of bad advice. Any watch you can currently afford, or have gifted to you, will not be classy. Just go with a decent watch in a classic style and you will be fine. Save the class until you can afford to drop half the cost of a new car or more on the one piece of jewelry it is acceptable for a man to wear.
If you want to be classy, and have reason to dress as such, get some decent professional clothes and have them tailored. A proper fit is paramount to looking good. Next invest in some upper end silk ties. If you're looking for gifts, I recommend asking for these. Get yourself a few ties in the $100+ range, and don't bother with anything other than silk.
Shoes are fairly important, but again, unless you're going to drop several hundred, just get a pair that "look the part."
As far as the other things you asked about go, just don't worry about them. If you pull out a $300 wallet and have a debit card and $80 in cash in there, and you're wearing crappy clothing, you will only be judged critically. Don't spent a grand or more on a few pieces of luggage. DO get a really nice leather messenger bag. This is one accessory that is worth doing right. Any "classy" outerwear wouldn't be considered "outerwear." Go to a proper men's wear shop and look at professional wear if you really think you want a "classy" jacket. However, you better be wearing at least a shirt and tie under it.
Try requesting an invite to the Fratagonia Cult. It has been dead for a while, but there was some reasonable advice in there.

go to zellers the bay or some place like that pick a classic but simple looking watch there, dont worry to much about the brand because all a well know brand would do at this price point is let people know its cheap, this is what i did i got one for like 150(the price tag said usually 300 but i doubt it) and ive got plenty of complements on it. unless your spending upwards of 5,000(which would riduclous at your age unless a heirloom passed down) on a watch don't worry about the name or how its mechanics, just try pick something simple and clean. btw if possible go with something swiss made it will be better quality.

you're completely off base man. You cant afford a classy watch, a name doesn't really mean much...there are some nice ass watches out there for well under 500-there really is no need to spend 10,000$ on a watch as its just really pretentious unless you role with people in those circles...tennis clubs, ceo of fortune 500's...etc you get the idea.

Here's one I just got for example, you could find it for under 175$ mine was 250$ with a 'grashish' more limited dial, pretty classy if you ask me. 100$ ties, really are you kidding me, you're going to spend 100 on a tie and wear a 400$ suit, with 100$ shoes, people who know their shit will literally laugh at you. yes it has to be silk but you can find brand name 60$ silk ties at places like bernier for 7.50$...which I recently just did.

This is what you do, buy a suit, a great place in nyc is called my suit. For 495$ you get a pretty high thread count suit custom made for you. There is no point in getting a 1500$ suit unless you're going to spend the 500$ to go to a good tailor. It's better to get a 300$ suit and have it tailored perfectly to you for around 250$. A long as the fit if right more people will see 'class' than a ill suit with a nice label on it.

Get one pair of good fitting jeans, still no need to spend more than 125, 150 man which is a little ridiculous, have them tailored too if needed. This is what you could rock with a nice fitting blazer (under 150 easy under 200 easy even after being tailored) to nice dinners when a suit is a little over kill. You can also get really nice shoes for under 300$ (ex, some cole hanns with wood soles, not the best but still very nices shoes).

A wallet should cost no more at 40-50$ maxim. I wouldn't want to spend more than 25$ bucks personally.

Back to pants, I wear pants to work I've bought at marshals for 20$. I try and tailor all my work pants/suits obviously, once you get them back and spend 45-65$ on the pants they are 1000x nicer than a 200 pair of paints off the shelf, there is really no comparison.

NIce watch, nice suit, nice shoes can all be done for uner 1g really easily, most likely under 850$ too add in a blazer and jeans, a few dress shirt, a few ties, you have a whole wardrobe for 1,250$ you could wear forever.

Pea coats, and for watches I really like my Burberry sport and I have a white Lacoste one. Anyone have suggestions on any other watch brands?

I was trying to take what you were saying seriously, but then I saw this watch. It looks like it came out of one of those little machines next to the gumball machine for 50 cents. Your entire post is voided.

im with you. that watch looks kind of cheap. (which it was)

however, i do agree that high price =/= class.

class is something that money cannot buy, money can buy you a stylist and a life coach though.

everyone has different taste when it comes to "class" but those shoes look like something a pompous rich man would wear. but it's hard to go wrong with cashmere, so i approve of the blanket.

Everyone sees things differently, but for a watch under a 200$ price point it'd be hard pressed to find something nicer
