Sick man! I guess the snow is alright in Montana.Ive been riding the glaciers here in New York for a couple months now.
I checked the weather, 18 and snow at bridger, 20 and snow at discovery. Enjoy it bro

For Clarification, I am going to hike around Bridger or at least in the Bridger range. A couple people I know went up yesterday, and there was good coverage already. They got another ten inches last night apparently, and its still snowing.

I'm taking the SAT on Saturday, tomorrow. There is usually no snow on the SAT, so I don't think I'll be skiing.

Ten inches and your not up there right now!?!?
You west coast people are nuts. "Wellllll the official season dont start till theres 'bout.... 6 er 7 feet 'a snow on the ground"Here, were like "THREE INCHES!?!?!?!?!?! Lets fucking ride"

So lucky... I used to live in cali and ski tahoe but i moved... Ill be skiing tahoe a little bit this winter though. I got a double whammy pass to sierra and northstar

So me and Jeff went up around the PK area, built a pathetic lump we generously called a kicker, and hit it a couple times, ate a sandwich and hiked farther up. For October the snow was amazing. The coverage was fine on the runs higher up, but toward the bottom it was not skiable. It was probably knee deep powder, and it was pretty light too. I suggest waiting for the next snow if you wanna go up, cuz its starting to consolidate, and it is getting pretty tracked out. I don't know how the snow is higher up on the ridge, but I would guess that coverage is not sufficient yet.

the same thing happened last year and then most parts of the west had legendary seasons while the east fizzled out
but it's been snowing here in vail off and on for 2 weeks already, and montana and wyoming have already gotten FEET in places, so dont you worry your little head about it
