My dads a filmmaker so ive seen a shit load of differnt kinds of films but i have to say it was probly one of the best and craziest films ive ever seen.

extremely violent and realistic and how the whole plot comes together is amazing. I know its been out for a while but definatly see it if you havent. I think if you watched it blazed itd be so intense
 
i saw it last year sometime, then recently rented it to burn except i didn't select the option to burn over the subtitles so now i'm fucked and the i can't understand the dialogue (or however you spell that word) so im kinda mad.
 
its all in subtitles but it doesn't matter whatsoever. Once you start watching the movie you will get so into it you won't know what to do with yourself. Download it. Rent it. Watch it. So good.
 
i like it when that lil kid's all "ya, i snort, smoke and shoot" and he's maybe 10 years old.
 
ya i loved how everyone smoked weed as a much more accepted part of society. Wish it was like that here minus all the vioelence and poverty
 
my friend Renato from Rio de Janero (sp) showed me that movie last year. its so intense and really gives us more privlaged societies a different view on the rest of the world.

Yea i just watched this movie. GREAT FILM. Thumbs up. seriously. I really liked how the whole stroy came together. great excellent superb film. A must see.
 
A movie similar to that, although its fucken real is Darwin's Nightmare, about the people of Mwanza, Tanzania. Oh dear lord that shit that happens there is fucked up. and sad.
 
recently just got around to seeing this movie and thought this thread deserved a bump instead of making one of my own.

anyone who has not seen it and likes a good film should check it out. really, really good movie.
 
one of my faves for sure. so there's a sequel out 'City of Men', not nearly as good, bordering boring. City of God was made into a TV series in Brazil,

I have the movie and iam portuguese which mean i dont need subtitles but its deff an awsome movie watch it i hav also lived in Brazil soo i hav sum background reallife stuff there. My cleaner lived there
