City dump this weekend?

the GFS model shows a low in the Gulf of Alaska strenghtening on Friday and sending a cold front to the coast of BC hitting the south coast on Saturday night. This feature along with the centre of the low pressure system moving into southern BC would have the potential to dump a lot of snow over the entire area on Saturday night and Sunday. The GFS model has been predicting this feature for a couple of forecast runs

I heard that the warm front coming across from the pacific might turn that into rain though. It'd be sweet if it were snow though.
