Cinema Tools help

Shot with a t2i at 60p, conformed everything to 29.97 in cinema tools for slow motion. But there are a few clips that I want to be back in 60p, is there any way to conform back?

1. Why you're conforming to 29.97 is beyond me. You're shooting tapeless progressive, you should be working in 23.98. Conform 30p and 60p to 23.98 to achieve different slow motion framerates.

2. They are gone. The original file gets conformed, which is why you should make copies of the original you want to have both versions.

Not everyone wants to edit 24p, all of his other footage is probably 30p so he wanted it to match.

2. thank you??

1. u obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

tapeless progressive, so 23.98?? thats the dumbest bullshit i've ever heard. It makes no difference what you frame rate u conform to.

Landis does know what he's talking about, he's just very 24p bias. Conforming to 30p is completely fine and conforming to 24p is also completely fine.

Yep. 23.98 looks more natural, and 29.97 looks more digital. Besides, conforming to 23.98 will give you a slower frame rate, if you're into that kinda thing.

i get what your saying. i guess its a person opinion, i do conform to 24p when im dealing with 24p footage. but i shot hdv in 29.97, so i want it to match up.
