Cinco De Mayo

does mexico celebrate it as much as we like to think or is it just another excuse for drunken shenanigans?
 
rally not a big deal to them. but it falls in a conviently dead holiday time for america, so we use it as an excuse to drink tequila, eat limes, an d drink shitty mexican beer.

its celebrated way more in then US tha n in mexico.
 
seriously, my spanish professor basically dedicated an entire class to how cinco de mayo is not a big deal and its stupid to get drunk for it.

but, its the fifth of fucking may. how many times does that happen every year? like once? we gotta party.
 
fuck, i totally thought today was cinco de mayo. I was wondering why all the mexicans were looking at me weird today at work.
 
its just like st. Patrick's day. No one really celebrates it over there so us American's blow it out of proportion as an excuse to drink!
