I have a couple friends graduating and I wanted to get them a few cigars, but I dont know shit about them. What are some decent brands that dont cost $20 a piece?

$2.25 cents for a pack of 5.....those arent necessarily "celebration cigars".....their cheapies.....and odnt taste good at all

i just came back from the dominican and brought back some Cohibas very nice and should be under $10 a pop. very smooth and sweet a little bit. basically anything you see in an actual cigar shop that is over $50 bucks for a whole box will be good enough. dont get flavored ones either

a couplle of my favs that run around $10- 15 are Partagas.

I've wanted to try and heard Acid cigars are good, and yes

that is a name brand. One of the best smokes I've had is for sure

a Cohiba. If they are not used to smoking cigars make sure to get

them medium to mild cigars.

why not just go w/ phillies? some of them taste good but once in a while youll get a bad one. the are cheap too. like 5$ for a 6 pack or something like that

Phillies are so nasty, if a cigar leaves a taste in your mouth after brushing and a day or two, it's not a good cigar. You can't go gas station with cigars you'll never be pleased.

 
i smoke cheap flavored cigars from time to time. Mmmmm chocolate. Makes me want to eat the whole cigar.

Cusano 18 are very good and they taste smooth not chocolatey like a real cigar... just dont inhale like an idiot

romeo y julietta are not real cuban cigars. just because they say cuba on them does not mean they are cubans. they have to say product of cubaa or havana and most of the time it will be in spanish. also cuban cigars are not named after god damned shakespeare plays.

 
wow some people are spazzy, just because I don't know everything, but remeber they are legal in canada you freak, settle down. It was also a question to make sure they are legal in canada so I don't spend a while searching for a cigar shop if they only have the same as here.

 
not blaming anything on you but you can get cubans in canada just make sure you dont get ripped off because they will definetely try

 
durango sportsmen are a relitivly inexpensive cigar that i like also the generic cohiba's called cojimas or someting like that are good. macanudos are popular with the kids these days... If you are like most people including myself you really dont know shit about cigars but pretend you do. But on th other hand you do know what you like and that is a mild cigar. A real cuban would straight up floor your ass and probly be packed so tight that you couldnt toke it enugh to keep it burning not to mention the fact that it would take about an hour to smoke and by that time your head would be spinning and your face would be be a palid shade of green. So just got to a tobacco shop and say you are looking for a light aromatic cigar. With the money you saved buy some Courvoisier like a true player. or something.

I have a question for you cigar smokers out there, do you inhale the smoke? I dont, but ive only smoked cigars three or four times.

no you do not inhale it is supposed to be for the taste. you will get a thick buzz but you will also feel sick if you inhale

 
ashtons are probably the best for the money, romeo and julietas are also NOT CUBANS and can be purchased in america

Jewels Chocolate's are good, try www.cigar.com they have lists of cigars and prices and reviews. Plus you can do a search for cigars in your price range.

I had a cuban cohiba while down in mexico. it was a good smoke. I got a medium strenght and it was about an hour and a half long smoke, so good.

 
hahaha giving phillies to someone as a gift is embarrasing them and dissing them in a way... phillies are newspapers rolled in tobacco leaves, the only thing there good for is rolling blunts, if you want them to enjoy them actually get them some purto ricans, most go for about 5-10 each and there excelent, go to a cigar shop... they have them in most cities somewhere

Purto rican cigars are very nice... and yea, giving gas station cigars as a gift would be bad
