This is the 17th year and there are supposed to be millions of em right? well i'm here in northern new jersey and i havent seen a single cicada yet. Does anybody else have this problem

i remember like 6-7 years ago there were cicadas in Northern NJ so im like this cant be the 17th year. I used to take the shells and stick all over my shirt when i was younger

i live in pa, and they are all over. but they dont really bother me... they just stay in the woods and make noise and mate. not a nuisance. :)

um i live in cincinnati and we get them the worst, but i am lucky i live in indian hill and we don't get them that bad but on the west side they are HORRIBLE!! i call them the plague.

the other day i was in hyde park (west side of cincy) and i got into my car and i hada skirt on, and i was backing up and i heard this horible noise, it was a cicada in my lap. OMG i freaked out. threw my car into park slammed open my door tryed to open my window to get it out. and then it got stuck in the handle on my door and was making this horrible noise, and i was scared to death to touch it so i just sat in my car like screaming, till i saw this lady and her daughter (whose my age) walk by to i jumped out of my car and the mom got the cicada out for me... i was soo happy.

And it makes me see, every puff that I breathe, potent herbs and leaves could ease the world . . .

oh yea if you pull there legs apart their heads pop off, its sweet!! or if you throw them really hard onto the ground they make a sweet screaming noise. its fun i make my dad do it cause i refuse to touch them.

they have them in australia. find one and pick it up and put a fire cracker close to its legs and it will grab and hold on to it. light fire cracker and throw cicada flys away to it death

They dont bite or n e thing they are just so damn loud during the day it pisses me off thank god they are quiet at night! and yea they just come up to mate and all of the males die after mating then they go back in the ground and have their babies and come up to do it again!

Well anjelica what im doing with my life...i just got home about two weeks ago from college. I have been working 6 days a week as a server this summer so that I can have money next year when i will be a Junior at the University of utah and will be going into medicine. I skied about 100 days this season at alta, and also got a 3.5 last semester at the U of u. What are you doing with your life? Still being a stuck up whore i assume?
