yea just watched this movie and god, it so bad....

editting was teh same shit we've been seeing since 2 years and riding wasnt that great except heikki and jussi..

definately not worth buying or even just watching....

i personally thought it was one of the sickest snowboard movies i have ever seen. the opening segment was breath taking

 
chulksmack is a sick movie the shots are so perfect and the music alright but if you wanna see a movie with a real good sound trac watch moments of truth all the music is mixed by marc frank montoya it's dope

 
hum i didnt like the riding thaty muchs I think that some segment should have been simply deleted. I found it kinda gay cause i had the impression of watching the rejected footage from some of the riders.. seriously, some riders had like 2-3 good jumps in their segment where they werent shaking their arms all over the place. Looked like footage from 2 years ago i terms of technicalities ( not on rails tho)

Seriusly, lots of movies from last year are more progressive then this one in terms of jumps and BC booters.

the higlights of the movie is that junkward footage and jussi and heikki segmetns plus some rails that where mind blowing tho especially that dub kink that kevin jones 50-50ed

yea seth seg was hot too, so that's makes like 3 good segment in the movie (in my opinion)...

What look at who's in it. Jussi, Willie, Lukas, Jeremy, and Tadashi. With a roster like that I don't know how it could be bad.

you didnt think the riding was that good?????? are you serious. its so technical they do tailpresses on douwn flat downs the whole way and theres a guy that does the 4 nines of the same kick the same day. all the moves are realy technical with this run of two kickers where they do switch backside 9 s pi back side 9. seriously the movie wasnt that great but the riding is rediculous

I thought Chulksmack was decent, I think the rails were real tech, and some of the jumps had mad style, some of them looked like complete B-Roll footage. I liked the soundtrack though, although some segments were too short, especially with the small number of riders that Mack Dawg shot with.

Pop is definitely my favourite movie of the year so far - if it gets knocked from the #1 position I will be suprised.

Everyday Something, Love/Hate Movie, and Five to Nine

those are the movies of the year(snowboard wise)

afterlame was alright.

but in terms of editing, Everyday Something was a amazing, and Love/hate: i've never seen anything that felt more complete and like a skate video at the same time

 
i'm suprised its not that good, promo copy is supposed to be ill plus it has laurie helskari who slays everything.

brad kremer (the guy who made kingpin's 'happy hour') directed chulksmack. thats basically why mackdawg went from 'snowboarding is brutal' to 'super yay yay'. and i do think that chulk should be smacked around a bit. But if you like snowboard flicks, get POP, its the real deal sex appeal.

all i have to say is that ski movies need to start going in the same direction as the sick snowboard movies. as of right now most of the new ski movies suck. not the skiing but the way they're edited and the music in them.
