Amazing thread title, but shit. That sounds fucking gnarly. 77 years old out for some relaxing golf, and end up in an alligator's death roll and getting your arm ripped off? Damn.
 
I see gators all the time when i golf. I usually just drive past on my cart and smack them with a club if my ball gets close.
