I used to love my 10's but then they shit the bed and fast. The left tip delammed and when I put three rivets in it the top sheet splintered around them. The core also snapped right behind my binding on the same left ski. The top sheet and base remained intact but whenever I land back seat the tail can bend almost to 90 degrees.
That said the bases were bomb proof and they are a moderately light, fun ski. I'd advise you still get them but thought I'd share the problems I had with mine.
I loved my chronics. But truth be told I didn't find them to be light in the slightest. They were a stiff ski but rather durable, I had no big issues with them.
The Chronics this year are the same as the Chronic Cryptonites last year and the year before (10/11 and 09/10), both 92 underfoot. But the Chronics from 09/10 (there was not just Chronic last year) and before were 85 underfoot.
Love my Chronics. Only skied em about 30 days or so thus far, so I can't really comment on the durability that much, but they've held up great so far. But as everyone else has said, next years Chronics are going to be that much better.
I don't have the catalog in front of me right now, but the dimensions are different and there is tip and tail rocker. I'll try to find the catalog and get you the complete specs unless Line can step in here and put down the details.
