Chronics vs. Recoils

I have tried both pairs of skis. They both ski rather similar. Both are made beefier, hence durability is not a problem. Both are great carving skis/ all-mountin skis. For urban I would pick the recoil. However, the chronic is flexier and a little lighter. THe recoils can also handle rather larg jumps.

I would be prepared to argue this. The recoils are softer from what I've seen/felt, and the Chronics would certainly win in a jump comparison.

i'm guessing you mean chronics judging by your first post? Chronics are softer in the tip/tail than the Recoil/Maiden... no question about it!

No doubt chronics win this. These skis are just so damm good on jump and rails. I skied on 2010-2011 chronic until the beginning of this season, when i decided to swap to the new chronics, even more banger and good than the old chronic.
