I need some advice, i have finally narrowed it down to these 3 skis, and need help deciding which one would be best.

I'm 6' 3 about 200.

Need a stiffish ski with my size.

Will be used probably 60/40 park/all mountain and mostly for jumps.

i can get the Chronics for $300, the Dumonts for $250 and the joysticks for $325

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I ride '08 chronics and they are pretty sick. Super light, super stiff (for me at least, I am 5'7'',140lbs, ridin 171s). Not a bad ski, throws you into spins, solid on rails. A little too stiff for my liking since i spend my time 100% in the park. I would have preferred a pair of Volkl Walls or Line Anthems. But thats only cus the east coast coast only has parks and no pow or big mountains. I picked mine up for $275 at a shop's moving sale which was just a rediculous price since prices are jacked in Canada. $300 isnt bad. I have also demoed the Dumonts. I really dont have much to say about them cus i didnt even use them for a full run. Seemed uber stiff to me and they only had a pair of 181s so i didnt ride for long. But if you are looking for a ski to plow through ghetto shit landings, solid ski on rails and an overall tough ski, then def go fro the chronics. Plus, Line is just pure legit.

i havent skiied the joysticks but i almost bought them and i hear they are real sick. I bought the black and white striped Lib Tech NAS though which i love. The only problem with the Lib Techs is that they are real stiff. I dont know about the flexibility of the Joystick though

and on Evogear.com i think the NAS is only like $225 right now which is a hell of a deal considering i bought them for $450 and think they were worth every penny

and i think the NAS is selling for only $225 right now on Evogear.com. thats a hell of a deal considering i bought them for $450 and think they are worth every penny

How are those NAS with the magnetraction.

i have been wanting to try them for a while now.

sick idea!

and someone told me that they are sold individually.

is that true? so is that $225 for a pair of skis or just a single one.

when i heard that, i was like wtf? they sell individual skis?

chronichs are stiff but good lines are good it depends what you are riding i dont know about joysticks and dumonts are sick

Yeah i was wondering the same thing. I saw them on evogear for $225 but i wasn't sure if that was for the pair or just one ski.

The Magne traction is awsome. it really does help with bad snow conditions and carving. I found that with the Lib Techs i can lean into my turns alot more than on any other ski ive used. The wavy edges do not catch on rails or anything. I dont know how Evogear would even consider selling them for $225 since they are such great skis. If you have the $$$, then pick them up.

and the $225 is for a pair of skis........i bought mine from evogear and it came with 2 skis. Ive never heard of them being sold separatly.
