Chronics or Silencers?

Hi, I do a lot of around-mountain skiing, and some park/jib. My last pair of skis were some 06 K2 Fugatives, which were OK. Now I'm looking for a new pair of skis, and have narrowed it down to either 08-09 K2 Silencers or 07-08 unused Line Chronics. I hear some bad stuff about Silencers, and am leaning toward the Chronics. What is your input here?

Go with what ever is in your price range. I just picked up a pair of chronics, but i was considering the silencers because i have heard alot of good things about them as a park ski. I am happy with my decision though

if your gonna get silencers don't get next years. the 08 graphic is cooler, and you can find them for around 160 which is mad cheep.

silencer is a price point ski, its made to be cheap and is pretty low quality

this really shouldnt be a question. lifeless, dead, dull, drab silencer vs one of the better park skis out there? cap construction vs abs sidewall?

How can you compare the chronic to the silencers. The silencers is out of the chronics league.

i have friends with both and the silencers suck but the chronics are sickk... chronics 4 sho
