Chronics center mounted?

i am about to buy this years line chronics i just cant decide if i should center mount them or not and if they are meant to center mount let me know please.

I wouldn't recommend it on the chronics go like -2. Unless its a symmetrical ski dont center mount it.

cm. When i used to ride the chronics(as my park ski) i always mounted them dead center. Even though they are not a perfectly symmetrical ski the noses are only 4mm wider than the tails, and they have a symmetric flex. it depends a lot on personal preference and what you plan to use them for, a park ski or more 50/50 park/all mountain?

this is the most uneducated response I've ever read, so let me give it to you straight, i work at a shop and have for 6 years and am a certified tech for pretty much every binding manufacturer out there...

the chronics are a directional twin tip, which means the mounting plate is set back, and the nose is wider than the tail. the chronics also only have one mounting location, which is core center. now, core center DOES NOT mean that it is the dead center of the ski. It is the thickest part of the core of the ski hence, core center. in order for you to get the maximum amount of performance out of the ski, stay at the factory recommended mounting location. if you try and go dead center, you risk drilling past the mounting plate and stripping your screws.

hope this helps
