Chronic wides in moguls

My bro is looking for some new skis, and someone is trying to sell him chronic wides for cheap. there's one problem, he skis probably 50% moguls.

are the chronic wides too wide for moguls?

well if hes good in moguels and know how to contol his ski in them not really

definitly not a great ski for the moguls, if he's skiing that much moguls he should just pick up a mogul ski. If he was skiing moguls maybe 15-25% of the time then that's different, but 50% is quite a bit of time

Width really doesn't matter here as much as stiffness. And from what I hear chronic wides are pretty stiff. So...probably gonna be somewhat of a bitch in moguls.

yeah i definately wouldn't reccomend them either. Most mogul skis are pretty narrow underfoot.

Regular Chronics are Ok in moguls, not the wide ones. To wide, wo stiff, to wide
