Chronic vs. reno jib

I need a ski that will perform better on jumps than my invaders, but also do okay all mtn. I am 5'6" and 125 lb. I ski about 80% park and 20% groomers. from what I have heard, the both have a good amount of pop and are relativly stiff. I can get the chronics for about $200, but the jibs are over 400. I have heard good things about the jibs on this site and I wanted to know whether or not they are worth the extra money. Also, what size should I get?

somewere in the 171 region. and both are dope skis but i havnt gotten to ride either unfortunatly. but id say moment. support them there an ansome company and ive herd great things about there skis

jibs sound like a great ski but you can't go wrong with chronics... they kill it everywhere and they are freakin bombproof.

JIbs are symmetrical and kill it everywhere, chronics in my opininon aren't as versatile but more bombproof as said above. i'd get the jibs because they will take u almost anywhere and are a pretty fun ski.

^ he already has invaders as a playful symmetrical ski. although if jibs are as stiff as chronics & and if he doesnt mind having two center mounted symmetrical skis then yeah

that statement doesn't make any sense

a center mounted symetrical ski is no where near as versatile as a ski that has it's mounting point set back about 40mm from true center

other than that, similar waist sizes, length and turning radius, the newer chronics aren't nearly as stiff as the older version, but are a bit fatter

i loved my chronics, they held up through 3 seasons of beatings but i just get reno rockers for this year, sooooo it's kind of a tough call imo
